This guard named Simon threw himself forward to save a Scientist being captured by SCP-106 and managed to pull him out of the pool of sludge, but he saw a form of torture so sadistic it sent him into a crazed panic that he has yet to recover from 2 months later. Amnestics can temporarily make him forget, but it isn't permanent as it seems to be engraved into his memories. He threw up the last time the Site Therapist asked him about it, prompting the Site Director to prohibit mentioning SCP-106 to Simon. He is in a relationship with Casey the Demolitionist, and is calm when near her.
